You face challenges such as

  • independently managing optical metrology processes in semiconductor manufacturing, with a focus on continuously improving quality, stability, and yield

  • creating, qualifying, integrating into IT systems, and maintaining measurement recipes, as well as independently developing complex models

  • conducting cost-effectiveness analyses and cost comparisons of new metrology processes, technologies, and equipment, taking into account technical feasibility, capacity, future requirements, and strategic direction

  • contributing to the development of new metrology methods and defining process monitoring approaches that incorporate emerging technologies

  • adapting proven technologies used by other semiconductor manufacturers to existing processes

  • training and providing technical guidance to production staff in the field of metrology

  • developing and implementing measures to improve flexibility and reduce costs, while taking responsibility for the release process as part of the Technical Review Board

  • conceptualizing and coordinating projects in the field of metrology

  • optimizing workflows for data collection and response to measurement results, with a focus on increasing data availability and quality to reduce manufacturing costs

  • improving the efficiency of data collection and analysis, enhancing data quality, and accelerating response times to process deviations

You inspire us with

  • a completed degree in physics, electrical engineering, chemistry, or a comparable field

  • advanced skills in programming evaluation systems

  • experience and expertise in metrology within wafer manufacturing

  • solid process knowledge in semiconductor technology

  • hands-on experience with measurement technology in semiconductor manufacturing

  • initiative, responsibility, strong problem-solving skills, and flexibility

  • an independent, responsible working style combined with a cooperative and team-oriented approach

  • your business-fluent language skills in English
