What you should know about the job

You face challenges such as

  • contributing to the development of new manufacturing processes while taking new technologies into account

  • independently managing production equipment in semiconductor manufacturing with a focus on improving equipment availability, process quality, and yield in process-related areas (e.g. process-intrinsic cleanings, SPC rules)

  • conducting cost-effectiveness analyses, cost comparisons, and rationalization studies within the framework of technical feasibility

  • developing measures for process flexibility and cost reduction in process-related areas and presenting them in coordination and change management meetings

  • optimizing existing manufacturing processes, including planning and ensuring implementation

  • executing, coordinating, analyzing, and evaluating experiments to optimize manufacturing processes

  • training and providing technical guidance to production staff on process-relevant topics (e.g. visual inspection for new manufacturing processes, handling of process-relevant hold lots, rework)

You inspire us with

  • a completed university degree (Master’s or Diploma) in natural or engineering sciences

  • solid knowledge and practical experience in semiconductor technology

  • professional experience as a process engineer, ideally in the area of CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization)

  • an independent and responsible working style, combined with a cooperative and results-oriented approach

  • strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to work effectively in a team

  • your business-fluent language skills in both German and English
