Wheel & Wheel Trim Engineer (all genders)

You face challenges like

• designing and developing wheels, wheel trim, inserts, center caps, and other components from concept to production

• establishing requirements for components based on desired vehicle attributes

• completing component DFMEAs and DVPs, contributing to system failure mode analyses

• collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to design with excellence at both system and component levels

• coordinating virtual engineering and physical validation testing for your designs

• managing multiple complex projects in a demanding environment

• working closely with the design studio, CAE department, and validation team

• having automotive industry experience focused on designing wheels, wheel inserts, and wheel trim

• personally designing components from concept to production

• demonstrating proven 3D CAD skills

• having hands-on practical experience in prototype assembly

• bringing experience in technology, system, and supplier selection

• showcasing project leadership and mentoring skills

• having design release engineering experience, including engineering change management and project management

• determining required tolerances using GD&T
