What you should know about the job

You face challenges like

  • project supervision, control, and independent implementation of project contents

  • development of new chemical process procedures for analyses in coordination with specialist departments

  • organization and execution of analyses of aerospace fuels as well as accompanying manufacturing investigations (e.g. NVR = non volatile residue)

  • conducting storage investigations and special tests as well as creating meaningful reports

  • independent creation and evaluation of project-specific documentation for customers (e.g. ADP = Acceptance Data Package)

  • regular review and coordination of risk assessments, usage concepts, and job descriptions with the occupational safety specialist as well as supervision of waste management with HSE

  • control of maintenance of operating resources, facilities, and measuring devices in the laboratory

  • supporting the Head of in the development of project proposals

  • procurement of raw materials, analysis chemicals, and materials as well as their proper storage

  • conducting, documenting, and evaluating analysis results

You inspire us by

  • a completed degree (Bachelor's or higher) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Chemical Process Engineering or a comparable qualification

  • at least 3 years of professional experience in maintenance, aerospace, and technical documentation

  • strong communication skills to ensure smooth flow of information

  • team spirit as well as a high level of responsibility, resilience, and organizational talent

  • experience in chemical analytics, ideally in the analysis of rocket propellants

  • competence in organizing and conducting analyses of aerospace fuels

  • solid MS Office skills

  • fluent German and proficient English language skills
