Development Engineer (all genders) - 2295

You face challenges like

• being responsible for technical components in the development of eBike drive units

• ensuring robustness, durability, NVH performance, and industrialization

• overseeing components from prototype (A-sample) to series release

• performing tolerance calculations, component design, drawing derivation, documentation, and coordination with suppliers

• commissioning validation samples and tests, interpreting results, and deriving improvement measures

• considering schedule, quality, and cost targets

• collaborating in a cross-functional project team

You inspire us by

• a completed university degree (Master/ Diplom/ PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering with a focus on Product Development, Design Engineering, or a comparable field of study

• extensive experience in supplier management in the development of connectors, plastic components, and die-cast parts, as well as the associated manufacturing technologies such as stamping, drawing, bending, plastic injection molding, die-casting, and milling, including experience with Moldflow and FEM simulations

• very good knowledge of the CAD tool ProE/Creo and MS Office

• a creative, independent, consistent, and structured way of working

• willingness to travel occasionally for business trips (approximately 1–2 times per year)

• fluent language skills in German and English
