the series introduction of new materials and manufacturing processes for the production of cabin and air-conditioning components within the Aviation division – with a focus on lightweight design as well as technically and visually sophisticated surfaces
conducting material and process qualifications to characterize relevant parameters and ensure industrial reproducibility
supporting production lines and sites to guarantee smooth production operations
supporting engineering in material and process selection as part of product development
supporting Supply Chain Management in supplier qualifications and on-site release audits
a completed degree in aerospace engineering, engineering sciences or in composites/materials with a focus on materials science or plastics engineering, or a comparable qualification
more than two years of professional experience in engineering, plastics and rubber technology, and in the aerospace industry, including mandatory experience in surfaces, coatings, films or textiles
sound knowledge of lightweight design, plastics engineering and fiber-reinforced plastics, as well as experience in test planning, technical documentation and manufacturing processes for GFRP and CFRP components
advanced MS Office skills and initial experience with SAP
business-fluent German and good to very good English skills
