What you should know about the job

You face challenges like

  • optimizing semiconductor processes for MEMS and power semiconductor technologies

  • further developing PECVD and ALD single processes with a focus on meeting new requirements and improving process quality and yield

  • evaluating developing and implementing innovative manufacturing processes and equipment

  • planning coordinating and assessing experiments in close collaboration with internal and external partners

  • developing and implementing measures to increase process flexibility and reduce manufacturing costs

  • conducting economic evaluations and cost comparisons for new processes technologies and equipment under technical feasibility and future requirements

  • advising departments and supporting the procurement of equipment from specification to commissioning and final acceptance

  • working with equipment manufacturers to implement optimizations and creating internal documentation and process guidelines

You inspire us by

  • holding a university degree in chemistry materials science process engineering physics or a comparable field of study

  • having professional experience in semiconductor or MEMS processes with a doctorate considered equivalent

  • bringing in-depth knowledge and practical experience in semiconductor technology and equipment engineering

  • having experience with statistical process control SPC as well as data analysis and evaluation

  • having hands-on experience in the development or production of CVD and ALD single processes in a semiconductor or MEMS environment

  • demonstrating technical and practical expertise in surface coating thin films and their characterization

  • your fluent German and English language skills both written and spoken
