What you should know about the job

You face challenges such as

  • project management for MLI and component manufacturing in the area of tanks and components

  • ensuring on-time, on-cost, and on-quality production

  • supporting the preparation of product offers for internal and external processes

  • contributing to design-to-cost analyses and developing technical proposals for manufacturing methods, product-related jigs & tools, and process flows

  • maintaining material master data and processing bills of materials from a production perspective

  • creating work plans including operations and planned times

  • procuring product-related components and external work steps

  • conceptualizing and sourcing product-related jigs & tools

  • creating production orders

  • providing shop-floor support to build process capabilities

  • driving process improvements as well as evaluating and optimizing production times

  • supporting post-calculations after product delivery to the customer

  • closely coordinating with specialist departments and acting as an interface to the project

You inspire us with

  • your technical degree (e.g. in production planning, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field of study) or an equivalent qualification (at least technician/master craftsman level)

  • your several years of professional experience (minimum 3 years) in areas such as manufacturing/production, aerospace, production planning and control, project management, process planning, or technical documentation

  • your strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office and SAP/R3 (including advanced functions), complemented by advanced knowledge of PAS; ideally, you also bring experience with Siemens Simatic IT/Teamcenter

  • your business-fluent language skills in German and English
