What you should know about the job

You face challenges like

  • leading production schedules

  • short- and mid-term production planning, including milestones from upstream and downstream functions, while considering production events, customer requirements, and resource availability (integrated planning)

  • structuring plans across three levels (management, project, and operational levels)

  • planning of drive systems as well as individual components

  • performing plan-versus-actual analyses, identifying alternatives, determining workforce requirements, reviewing release dates and deployment schedules, and continuously updating production plans

  • reviewing existing plans for improvement potential and developing appropriate recommendations

  • preparing and tracking KPIs as well as creating reports

  • leading planning meetings and preparing planning minutes

  • further developing planning tools in line with current process requirements

  • identifying efficiency improvement potentials in production planning and control through analysis of existing processes

  • implementing lean management principles to reduce waste and improve the value chain

  • tracking and reporting improvement initiatives within the production area

You inspire us by

  • a completed degree (minimum Bachelor’s level) in a relevant field, such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, supply chain/logistics, or production engineering with a focus on production planning

  • several years of professional experience (at least 2 years) in manufacturing or production, ideally in the aerospace industry, particularly in production planning and control as well as project management

  • very good user-level proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and SAP R/3, with confident use of advanced functionalities

  • knowledge of Primavera, Planisware, as well as Jira and Confluence, which is considered an advantage

  • fluent German skills and very good command of English, both written and spoken
