Senior Test Engineer (all genders) Propulsion Systems

You face challenges like

• taking responsibility for the planning, execution, and documentation of static and dynamic component tests in the field of drive technology/space propulsion systems (thermal/fluid/mechanical and combinations)

• coordinating test objectives with engineering teams and developing test setups considering quality and safety requirements

• conducting component tests with multiphysical approaches at the Augsburg site or with external partners, as well as designing and installing test setups

• evolving the existing test portfolio according to customer requirements

• independently estimating costs for component test campaigns

• detailed planning of internal and external test campaigns

• creating test plans and procedures (DE/EN)

• reporting to project managers, team leaders, and customers (DE/EN)

You inspire us by

• your degree as Dipl.-Ing. or Master in Spacecraft Propulsion Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Test Engineering, or a related field

• at least 5 years of experience in drive technology, test engineering, or conducting complex component tests

• initial experience with cryogenic media (liquid and gaseous)

• experience in theoretical and practical measurement of physical parameters, vacuum technology, fluid mechanics

• experience in automated data acquisition and analysis as well as programming and setting up automated test setups (e.g. Python, etc.)

• good moderation and negotiation skills

• your good German skills (at least B2) and fluent English skills (at least C1)
