Test Engineer (all genders) - 1022

You face challenges like

• Conducting systematic penetration tests, primarily in the automotive and IoT environment

• Independently designing and executing attacks against target systems, including attack paths involving communication interfaces, software, and hardware components

• Analyzing, interpreting, and documenting test results, as well as developing remediation recommendations in collaboration with customers

• Developing tools for test automation and improving the reproducibility of previously conducted attacks

• Supporting the development of attacks, methodologies, and tools across the entire Security Testing domain, including Functional Security Testing, Vulnerability Scanning, and Fuzzing

You impress us by

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT Security, or a comparable field of study

• Solid expertise in software and hardware penetration testing or relevant interfaces such as USB, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, and cellular technologies, along with hands-on experience using common security testing tools

• Specialized knowledge in IT security and cryptography, programming in C and Python, and ideally additional languages such as Assembly or Java, as well as automotive electronics and bus systems, or penetration testing of backend systems (servers and networks)

• A passion for working with both software and hardware, combined with a strong hands-on and tinkering mindset

• Creativity and curiosity for new and diverse technologies

• A customer-oriented and self-driven approach to work

• Excellent English skills and good German skills, both written and spoken
