What you should know about the job

You face challenges like

  • developing test systems in accordance with aviation regulations across all project phases: requirements analysis, design, implementation, and verification

  • planning and designing electrical circuits using Zuken E3, including maintenance of associated databases

  • creating circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and cable layouts including bills of materials

  • designing and implementing real-time systems, preferably using hardware from National Instruments (NI)

  • developing programmable hardware (FPGA, PLD, VHDL)

  • low-level software development using both the waterfall model and agile methodologies

  • implementing software for test automation using Python, Matlab/Simulink, and C#

  • performing regular maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of test systems

  • continuously improving and advancing existing test solutions

  • collaborating closely with customers and suppliers to define and implement technical requirements

You inspire us with

  • a degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field of study

  • several years of hands-on experience in electrical measurement, control and regulation (EMSR), as well as in software development

  • solid knowledge in designing electrical circuits

  • practical experience in technical service

  • expertise in both analog and digital circuit design

  • experience with an ALM tool such as Polarion and a configuration management tool like Subversion

  • excellent command of German, both written and spoken

  • good command of English, both written and spoken

  • an independent and solution-oriented working style

  • high reliability, commitment, sense of responsibility, and strong team spirit
