Embedded Software Tester (all genders) - Aerospace

You face challenges like

• taking responsibility for the implementation of automated software tests for a fire & smoke system

• defining test cases based on software requirements

• verifying test coverage in the requirements management tool IBM Rational DOORS

• developing test scripts in Python

• performing hardware/software integration tests (high-level testing)

• creating test scripts using the VectorCAST/C++ tool

• executing low-level tests

• working with interfaces such as digital and analog I/Os, CAN bus, RS232, and SPI

You inspire us by

• a completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, general engineering, aerospace engineering, or mechatronics (at least Bachelor’s level), or a comparable qualification at Bachelor’s level with a focus on embedded software development

• several years (at least three) of professional experience in electrical engineering/electronics and development, as well as solid knowledge of functional testing on embedded systems; experience with aerospace software development standards is a plus

• strong practical experience in Python and the requirements management tool DOORS; knowledge of the C programming language and experience with VectorCAST/C++ are desirable

• very good German and English language skills, including the ability to create technical documentation in English
