Construction Engineer (all genders)

You face challenges like

• taking responsibility for the design of plastic components in the development of eBike drive units (focusing on aesthetic appearance, robustness, and industrialization)

• overseeing components from initial prototype (A-sample) to series production readiness

• being responsible for tolerance analysis, component design, drawing derivation, documentation, and coordination with suppliers

• commissioning validation samples and tests, interpreting test results, and deriving improvement measures

• considering timeline, quality, and cost targets

• contributing as part of a cross-functional project team

You inspire us with

• a completed university degree (Master’s/PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering with a focus on Product Development, Design Engineering, or a comparable field of study

• expertise in the development of visible plastic parts (Class A freeform surfaces)

• experience in supplier management

• solid experience in the development of plastic components and related injection molding technology

• excellent skills in CAD tools such as ProE/Creo and proficiency in MS Office

• an open and communicative personality

• a creative, independent, consistent, and structured working style

• willingness to travel occasionally for business (1–2 times per year)

• your business fluent language skills in German and English
