Development Engineer (all genders) Materials & Processes

You face challenges like

• the series introduction of new materials & manufacturing processes for the production of cabin & climate components in the Aviation division with a focus on lightweight construction as well as technical and visual surfaces
• conducting material & process qualifications to characterize relevant parameters and ensure industrial reproducibility
• supporting production lines and upstream instances in all specific material topics to ensure smooth production processes
• supporting design in material & process selection within product development
• supporting the Supply Chain in supplier qualifications & on-site approval audits

You inspire us by

• a completed Bachelor's degree with a focus on engineering, aerospace, composite materials / composites, a comparable qualification with a focus on materials science and plastic engineering
• two years of professional experience in engineering, plastics & rubber technology, or aerospace
• professional experience in the field of surfaces/paint/foil/fabric as well as knowledge of lightweight construction methods & plastic engineering
• knowledge of fiber-reinforced plastics as well as in test planning, documentation, and knowledge of manufacturing processes for GFRP/CFRP components
• in-depth application knowledge in MS-Office as well as initial application knowledge with SAP
• negotiation skills in German and English
