What you should know about the job

You face challenges like

  • conducting fire tests as part of the certification and qualification of aircraft components according to CS25/FAR25

  • creating, coordinating, and approving documentation on fire properties and material compatibility based on aviation-specific regulations

  • planning, commissioning, and monitoring test lab activities including test plans and requirements

  • evaluating complex test results and professionally documenting and approving the results

  • approving structural design decisions in the context of product changes or new developments considering fire safety requirements

  • providing technical advice to development and design in the selection of new materials and innovative technologies

You inspire us with

  • a completed bachelor's degree in engineering or a technician/master qualification in the field of aviation technology/aircraft construction with a focus on qualification or a completed vocational training as a technical draftsman (specialization in mechanical and plant engineering)

  • your several years of professional experience (min. 3 years) in project or quality management, preferably in cabin architecture or in the interior sector (e.g. lavatories, galleys)

  • your sound knowledge in aviation law as well as in the requirements for documentation and qualification of aviation technical components

  • your proficient use of MS Office, SAP, and Catia V5, each at the level of advanced users

  • your fluent German and English language skills

  • your strong organizational skills to plan and implement complex processes in a structured manner

  • your analytical strength and holistic view to quickly grasp technical relationships and make well-founded decisions
