Developer of measurement technology systems and sensors for the development of aircraft engines (all genders)

The testing technology team supports these complex tests in a rapidly evolving environment. New and further developments in the area of special measurement techniques and data analysis methods are therefore required on an ongoing basis.

As a measurement technology developer in the field of engine and component testing, you will be responsible for designing new measurement and analysis methods. You will consider the entire measurement chain from the sensor to the cabling and electronic signal processing through to the analysis software. Your measurement solutions are mainly used in the area of development testing and generate data for the approval and further development of our components.

You face challenges like

• the new and further development of measurement methods and systems

• coordinating requirements with the specialist departments

• designing and implementing measurement setups

• calibration, setup and acceptance of complex measurement systems

• metrological support during development tests

• detecting and rectifying errors in measurement operations

• advising specialist departments on the interpretation of measurement results

• presenting and discussing results with the customer

• documenting the work in the form of measurement protocols and reports

• carrying out technology projects in the area of development for measurement technology and instrumentation

• assisting with the acquisition and preparation of quotations for contract measurements - including technology, schedule and costs

• your successfully completed technical degree, preferably in technical physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable training

• your sound knowledge of measurement technology, signal conditioning, electronic circuit design and microcontroller programming

• your confident handling of MS Office and Python
