What you should know about the job

You face challenges such as

  • taking responsibility for the validation and procurement of hardware components for development engines and test rigs to demonstrate compliance with customer specifications and airworthiness.

  • coordinating testing and validation activities in an interdisciplinary team considering timelines and technical requirements.

  • planning and initiating hardware procurement for rig, technology, and component tests.

  • creating hardware quantity structures including binding deadlines.

  • developing detailed assembly plans for components and modules while meeting deadlines.

  • preparing and presenting schedules and dependencies for hardware and relevant development activities in regular industrial reviews.

  • identifying and presenting recovery potentials to optimize schedules.

  • coordinating schedules for instrumentation rework and component and test rig assembly.

  • supporting the coordination and provision of partner parts in close collaboration with international partner companies.

  • actively participating in interdisciplinary teams and representing hardware procurement interests within the project.

  • representing MTU's interests to external partners in an international environment.

You inspire us with

  • your completed technical studies or a comparable technical education.

  • your experience in linked scheduling, ideally with tools like cPlace or MS Project.

  • your solid project management knowledge and your ability to accompany projects in a structured and targeted manner.

  • desirable knowledge in the field of electronic components.

  • your strong assertiveness in representing planning interests - both in interdisciplinary teams and in international committees.

  • your negotiation-proof English skills, allowing you to navigate confidently in an international environment.

  • your excellent communication skills and confident demeanor.

  • your high self-motivation and commitment, especially within the NGFE project.
