organizing all quality disciplines in accordance with the contractual requirements of the internal customer (Program Management)

managing quality deviations (quality notifications), overseeing the entire anomaly management process, and leading working groups to define corrective and preventive actions
systematically analyzing deviations to define corrective and preventive measures based on information from databases and software systems (e.g., Pareto analyses using COGNOS, SAP, SPC, and AI)
implementing corrective and preventive actions in coordination with departments such as Production Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing
continuously improving existing quality levels by defining, conducting, and following up on job audits and ensuring the implementation of resulting actions
planning, communicating, and conducting Local Process Reviews in Manufacturing (MAIT) and Engineering/Development (DEVELOP)
leading problem-solving teams (internal or supplier-related), primarily using the 8D methodology (8D pilot) in accordance with project management requirements
closely collaborating with internal production areas (Inspection, Welding Assembly, Integration, Test, Mechanical Manufacturing, Cold Test Center, Cleaning, Incoming Inspection)
deciding on the release of products for delivery to external customers and issuing Certificates of Conformity (CoC)
participating in Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and Design Definition Assessments (DDA)
participating in Maturity Gates, Design Reviews, and Begin & End Task Committees (Perform Analysis)
monitoring employee qualifications and regularly reviewing qualification records in the manufacturing area, including deciding on further authorization for specific activities, particularly in the field of quality inspection (NDI)
monitoring compliance with defined quality standards (e.g., EN9100 standards family, ECSS standards) as well as internal company standards (Quality Manual, Quality Policy, Company Management System – CMS)
developing, implementing, and validating quality concepts in collaboration with internal and external working groups
validating and re-validating special processes and supporting their approval for continued use in production processes in coordination with commodity and process representatives according to defined responsibilities
contributing to the systematic development of the quality assurance system (Continuous Improvement Process / Quality Improvement Plan)
a completed technical degree (at least a bachelor’s degree), e.g., in engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable qualification, as well as certification as a Quality Management Specialist according to ISO 9001
several years of professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Management, as well as initial experience in project management
knowledge of Configuration Management as well as Lean and Continuous Improvement methods
solid knowledge of project management
experience with the SAP Q module
business-fluent German, strong English skills, and basic knowledge of French
