What you should know about the job

You face challenges like

  • planning, coordinating, and implementing migration strategies for timely, budget-compliant, and quality-assured data migration

  • establishing standardized processes for all migration phases - from Discovery and Assessment (D&A) through technical migration to Hypercare - including management via DevOps workflows

  • organizing and tracking migration progress using project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)

  • close coordination with internal and external stakeholders for a smooth process

  • collaborating with test and release managers as well as IT architects to ensure quality standards and coordinate dependencies

  • responsibility for technical cutover management and monitoring critical activities during the transition phase

  • active risk management with identification, updating, and development of countermeasures including rollback plans

You inspire us by

  • a degree in business administration, (business) informatics, engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification

  • several years of experience in data migration and rollout of complex IT projects

  • technical understanding of building and transforming complex data structures with common ETL tools

  • proficiency in project management tools like Jira and Confluence

  • experience in supplier management and collaboration with external service providers

  • basic understanding of IT and business processes in the manufacturing industry

  • strong analytical and structuring skills as well as the ability for target group-oriented communication

  • communication skills, teamwork, and a winning personality
