What you should know about the job

You face challenges like

  • the development, implementation, and management of test strategies, test plans, and test processes to ensure the highest quality standards

  • organizing, conducting, and documenting functional and technical tests with a focus on integration and process tests

  • planning, coordinating, and executing releases including scheduling, resource management, and rollback strategies

  • close coordination and communication with relevant stakeholders on test and release progress

  • collaborating with developers and business testers to identify and fix bugs

  • active risk management by identifying, monitoring, and mitigating risks in the test and release context

  • creating detailed reports on test progress, test results, and release status

  • continuously optimizing test and release processes, including the use of automated tests

You inspire us by

  • a degree in business administration, (business) informatics, engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification

  • several years of experience in IT test and release management of large projects

  • solid understanding of software development processes and quality assurance methods

  • proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Confluence

  • basic understanding of IT and business processes in the manufacturing industry

  • a certification as Advanced Level Test Manager (ISTQB CTAL-TM) or a comparable qualification

  • strong analytical skills and the ability to present complex issues in a structured and audience-appropriate manner

  • communication skills, teamwork, and a winning personality
